Line Marking Jobs We Take On Across the Southside
Warehouse Floors in Rocklea and Acacia Ridge
Rocklea and Acacia Ridge warehouses we mark with forklift lanes, pedestrian walkways and hatched exclusion zones, laid out to the site's traffic management plan. Busy forklift routes can go in two-pack epoxy.
When a shed changes tenant, the old layout usually needs grinding off first. Bring the new racking plan and dock numbers to the measure so both go on the quote.
Truck Yards and Loading Docks
Truck yards, dock bays and container set-down lines around the southside freight estates get marked by our crew on the same visit as the warehouse floor inside, so one crew finishes the site.
Tell us where semi-trailers and B-doubles turn, because those corners wear lines fastest and may suit a heavier material. Night work can suit a yard that runs all day.
Retail and Strata Car Parks
Car parks at southside shopping strips, medical centres and townhouse complexes are re-lined or set out by us with bays, accessible bays, arrows and bay numbers, checked against AS/NZS 2890.1 during set-out.
Retail car parks are usually marked in sections so the shops keep trading. Send the strata allocation list if bays are numbered, and wheel stops can go in the same day.
How a Southside Line Marking Job Runs
1. Free southside site measure
We measure the floor, yard or car park, check the surface and note old lines to remove.
2. Itemised written quote
Lanes, bays, symbols and removal each get a line, with the paint system named.
3. Booking around shifts and trading
The day is agreed around deliveries, forklift shifts or shop hours.
4. Set-out and marking
The layout is chalked, checked against the plan and marked.
5. Handover walk
Wet areas stay coned until dry, then we walk the finished job with you.

The Southside Industrial Belt, By the Numbers
The southside industrial belt is short on residents and long on sheds. The Rocklea and Acacia Ridge statistical area counted 10,061 residents at 30 June 2025 (estimated resident population), barely up from 9,990 in 2020, because so much of the land is industrial. Coopers Plains grew from 5,880 to 6,428 over the same five years and Salisbury and Nathan from 7,682 to 8,341.
Freight is the reason. The Acacia Ridge intermodal terminal moves interstate rail freight onto trucks, and the warehouses around it see heavy forklift and truck traffic that wears floor and yard lines quickly. Our forklift lanes and epoxy floor lines are built for that kind of floor.
Roads outside a site boundary here are Council's. Brisbane City Council looks after local roads across the southside, so kerbside and public road markings go through Council. Inside the gate, the owner or tenant decides.
The southside is one of the line marking service areas our crews cover around Brisbane.
